In a recent blog post, Anna Ruth shared how our “glass is half full, damn it” rallying cry really helped put all of the positives that could have easily been overlooked during such a turbulent year, composed of shitty news cycle after shitty news cycle, into perspective. Fortunately, by doubling down on agency culture, tightening the purse strings and re-committing to our definition of client service, our growing tech PR firm was not only able to survive 2020; but we were among the minority of agencies to finish the year in the black.

A significant part of my role as senior vice president of client service focuses on strong client retention. When I started at ARPR in 2014, the average agency-client tenure was shrinking dramatically. Today, it stands at less than three years, down from its pinnacle of nearly 8 years in the 1990s.

That’s why I am so proud that, despite some pandemic-driven setbacks, ARPR’s average client relationships are still significantly higher than this  average…and growing. Today, we have many clients in their fourth, fifth and sixth years of partnership.

This is a special accomplishment for an 8-year-old agency; one driven by what is inarguably an uncommon commitment to client service.

Client satisfaction thrives during Covid-19

Each year, we ask clients for feedback, because we truly believe in our spirited ideal, Learning Never Ceases. We use this information to continue to evolve to ensure that we are providing client service that truly PRopel’s What’s Possible.

At the end of the survey, we ask clients to be candid about their experience with us during the previous 12-months. These are some of our favorite reflections from our most recent survey:

ARPR is by far the most strategic, creative, and data-driven PR firm I have ever worked with. They truly do feel like an extension of our team and they continue to push us to think differently while also respecting our business goals. Not sure what we would do without them.    – Global Content Marketing & Communications Leader – Cloud Practice Group client

ARPR is a true partner to our team. They bring solid industry knowledge, creative ideas and expertise developing integrated PR and marketing campaigns. Their approach has significantly increased our thought leadership, grown our social media presence and engagement, and drove thousands of clicks and conversions to our website, all in support of the enormous growth our business has seen this year. They are also just a fun and bright team to work with. – Global Communications Director, HealthIT Practice Group client

ARPR’s media placement services are among the most effective I’ve seen in my 25 years in the Software industry. – SVP of Marketing, Cybersecurity Practice Group client

The team is very engaged, knowledgeable and receptive. Everyone has been flexible and helpful, and I like that the team identifies clogs and reaches out quickly to try and resolve and make the process better. – General Manager, FinTech Practice Group client

In addition to these, and other awesome client quotes, 100% of ARPR’s roughly 20 clients said they would recommend us our vouch for our work.

It’s such a pleasure to work with a team – an Army of Awesome – who remained so passionate about and committed to their clients during the most chaotic and unprecedented of years.

Our clients couldn’t be more pleased with all that you have done.
