ARPR is excited to seek a junior account coordinator with 1-2 years of experience to support our growing company. The position will play an integral role in servicing a growing roster of clients ranging from global SaaS leaders to mobile hardware OEMs to medical device brands to cybersecurity solutions. As a young, entrepreneurial company, the jr. account coordinator will gain first-hand experience and receive fast-track opportunities at ARPR that one wouldn’t acquire at a traditional agency.

This position will report to the Chief Operations and People Officer and work very closely with their individual account teams while also being accountable to our whole Army of Awesome.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Support between 5-10 of ARPR’s technology accounts with positivity, clear communication and confidence in order to seamlessly execute projects and drive ongoing results.

MEDIA RELATIONS
Support client media relations campaigns, including but not limited to researching media lists, editorial calendars, as well as award and speaking opportunities; journalist pitching (both written and phone) developing briefing books, tracking coverage, creating media relations reports, etc. under the direction of account team leads.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Develop and deploy client social media activations on multiple platforms, including but not limited to social media audit research, social advertising, content curation and influencer marketing.

CONTENT CREATION
Support client content marketing programs, including drafting blog posts scheduling/uploading content to CMSs/marketing automation systems and more.

REPORTING
Support account teams by culling data and compiling monthly Impact & Influence: Measuring What Matters client reports, this includes providing strategic insights to account leads based on data findings.

DESIRED SKILLS/PROFICIENCIES

  • Agency experience required
  • 1-2 years of media relations experience required, with proven successes in media pitching, content writing and an understanding of the technology industry.
  • Relentless curiosity, a passion for learning, a service-minded attitude and a constant desire to be your best.
  • Required experience: Microsoft Office Suite, newswire service providers, media database systems, Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with: SproutSocial, CMS platforms, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Basecamp (or other project management software), Google AdWords, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS
  • Desire to learn B2B and B2C tech innovation
