ARPR is seeking a Cloud practice group director for the growing practice group. This role would represent clients that span the entire cloud/SaaS ecosystem including AI, machine & deep learning and automated technologies that are disrupting retail, real estate, enterprise mobility, construction, transportation, data centers, consumer services and more. The candidate who best fits this role will be passionate and deeply rooted in the Cloud sector of the tech industry, an expert integrated communications strategist, hold key media relationships, and be a strong content marketer.

They will also be a seasoned leader with experience managing a small team and possess business development experience. This candidate will be able to easily embrace the entrepreneurial spirit – being humble, hungry and smart – and imbibe our unique culture and agency vision.



Lead the Cloud practice group through demonstrating Cloud/SaaS thought leadership internally, building our team’s knowledge base and interest of all facets of Cloud (privacy, regulation, innovation, etc.). Lend insights, provide feedback and offer support as it relates to the cultivation of our Cloud clients/pipeline and junior team members. Ultimately, this position serves as a manager, resource, and mentor for current and future employees across all ARPR locations, particularly for those who service Cloud technology clients.


Serve as a strategist on 5+ key Cloud accounts leading strategic client meetings, ensure quality of work product by junior team members, and develop key account plans (e.g., tradeshow activations, influencer marketing plans, product launch plans, corporate messaging portfolios, etc.) providing support, as needed, with technical skills (ideally, journalist pitching, content writing and messaging prowess) and cross-pollination of ideas/collaboration.


Build relationships in the Cloud/SaaS sector to fuel our growing business pipeline and ensure long-term health of the practice group. With the support of the leadership team, drive Cloud/SaaS new business inquiries, proposal development and pitches. Support company marketing by serving as our primary Cloud thought leader, including but not limited to blog content, speaking engagements and bylines. With the support of the practice group’s Account Director(s), drive renewals and upsells for respective client portfolio.


Measure clients’ earned media, social media and marketing results, and effectively translate analytics into actionable insights to constantly drive success.

  • 10+ years of integrated communications experience, with at least 5 years of agency experience required.
  • Existing relationships within the Cloud/SaaS ecosystem, including tech reporters, VCs, analysts, influencers and tech brands.
  • Relentless curiosity, a passion for learning, a service-minded attitude and a constant desire to be your best.
  • Required Experience: crafting and executing national and global media relations campaigns; managing major technology and industry tradeshow activations (CES, SXSW, SaaStr etc.); facilitating media trainings; leading brainstorm, messaging and content planning sessions; crafting content marketing programs; developing digital marketing programs; supporting new business pitches.
  • Required experience: Microsoft Office Suite, newswire service providers, media database systems, Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with: Sprout Social, CMS platforms, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Basecamp (or other project management software), Google AdWords, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS
