ARPR is seeking a social media director to lead our social media core capability for our high-growth and enterprise tech clients. The position will play an integral role in running social media marketing across our health IT, cybersecurity, mobility, MarTech and FinTech practice groups. This position will report to the chief operations & people officer while also being accountable to our whole Army of Awesome.


Serve as a strategist on 3-5 key accounts. Lead strategic client meetings surrounding digital/social media discussions, manage integrated comms campaigns and ensure quality of work product by junior team members. Support SEO and SEM initiatives through optimization of social media strategies, lead social media activations, including but not limited to, executive and brand audits/strategies, tradeshow activations, social media trainings, and influencer marketing programs.

Serve as social media marketing lead for 1-2 of ARPR’s larger, digitally focused accounts across practice groups. Act as direct line of contact for clients in matters concerning social media marketing deliverables, executing from soup to nuts in order to seamlessly guide and deliver projects and drive ongoing results.

Responsible for ongoing organic content curation and creation for both the brand and/or executive leadership social media channels for the clients you lead. Includes the creation of custom social media images.

Responsible for strategy, execution and ongoing optimization of key account paid social media campaigns across social media networks.

Measure clients’ media, social media, lead gen and marketing results, and effectively translate analytics into actionable insights to constantly drive success.

This role will co-lead ARPR’s internship program with his/her cohorts, as well as lend insights, provide feedback and offer support to the leadership team as it relates to the cultivation of junior team members and client service.

Support company marketing through the curation of thought leadership content and participating in speaking engagements. Drive renewals and upsells for respective client portfolio. Occasionally support new business pitches and proposal development, based on lead origination, technical skills needed, etc.


  • Agency experience required
  • 6-8 years of social media marketing experience, with proven successes in organic social media, influencer programs and paid social campaigns.
  • Relentless curiosity, a passion for learning, a service-minded attitude and a constant desire to be your best.
  • Required experience with: Twitter and LinkedIn social media advertising platforms, social media management software, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with: CMS platforms, CRM systems, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot/etc., Basecamp (or other project management software), Google AdWords, Canva/InDesign/etc., Mac OS
  • Understanding of and desire to learn B2B and B2C cloud, healthIT, cybersecurity and FinTech innovation.
