Pronouns: she, her, hers
Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pa., Blair Ruth Riley is a Yankee with strong North Carolina roots. Her father was in the television business, and WPXI-TV was Blair Ruth’s childhood playground – instilling a passion for storytelling, writing (and talking). She even starred in a few promo spots, including one on divorce where she had to fake cry. They put teardrops in her eyes that tickled like crazy, and it took many takes to capture her looking sad and not laughing.
Blair Ruth joins ARPR as the company’s first Cloud Practice Group Director, bringing a decade of deep B2B and B2C technology experience representing clients like HP Inc. and Panasonic during her tenure with Porter Novelli. A career highlight is the six months she lived in London to be worldwide agency lead for an HP campaign, where she learned the delight of Sunday Roast and legit British tea, and also survived the campaign’s culmination at an 11-day industry tradeshow (yes, 11 days).
And while she is happiest leading teams and campaigns across offices and time zones, Blair Ruth still loves crafting stories and the thrill of a top-notch media hit. She’s worked with publications in just about every trade vertical you can imagine, as well as with national media like Fast Company, USA Today, Bloomberg and Financial Times.
In her spare time, Blair Ruth is likely hanging with her cat Ramble, cooking brunch, checking out live music (including supporting her boyfriend’s band), practicing yoga or crocheting all the things. Cats and champagne are the way to her heart.
