Pronouns: she, her, hers
There are three words that guide Joelle’s life: curiosity, courage, and positivity, stemming from two quotes that she often refers to:
The first is from one of the most world-renowned visionaries, Walt Disney: “When you’re curious, you find lots of interesting things to do. And one thing it takes to accomplish something is courage.”
The second comes from her favorite teacher, Mr. Massey, who wrote the same quote on the whiteboard for the first day of school every year. It came from a former colleague, Gunther, who Mr. Massey worked with during his pre-teaching days. Gunther was always happy to be at work, on the good days and the bad. If you asked him why, his response was, “I’m glad to be at work today, because if I weren’t glad, I’d still be at work today.”
Joelle brings a relentless commitment to these principles and nearly five years of financial services experience to ARPR. She’s worked with various types of FinTech companies in the private and public sectors primarily supporting their B2B communications efforts, which has provided her extensive experience in turning complex, technical subject matter into easily-to-understand, SEO-optimized content. She’s secured coverage for clients in top-tier trade media, including American Banker, ComputerWorld and PYMNTS. She has also landed her clients coveted speaking opportunities at industry events such as Digital Banking, FinTech South and PayThink.
Joelle’s passionate curiosity helps her to consistently bring more than media hits to the table, thriving on high-level strategy and big ideas like special ways to recognize award winners at an industry event or how to leverage communications to engage any businesses’ most important customer base: their employees.
When Joelle isn’t checking her email or brainstorming new ideas, you can find her training for her next half marathon, planning trips to Walt Disney World, creating new recipes, cheering on Atlanta United, or hanging out with her favorite guys: her husband, Lane, and their highly-anxious (but lovable) dog, Ace.
